This is a painting of one of my favourite hiking photos, taken near the summit of Mount Bogong.
The name is inspired by Miley Cyrus’ gorgeous song ‘The Climb’ which happened to come on while finishing this piece . 💕
These timber boards have been handcrafted by a local framer using off cuts from a furniture maker.  Gaps, knots and rough patches have all been left adding to the character of each piece.
